Dappled Things Magazine has a great website (currently undergoing reconstruction in order to be even better) with voluminous archives of past issues available to browse online.   They will also gladly send you a sample printed issue for review if you complete the online request form on their subscription page.

We do not yet have permission here at The Christian Book Corner to offer new DT subscriptions at a discounted price -- though if we can generate enough sales for them they have promised to reconsider the point.  Their own published discount for 2 yr renewals is already pretty good, though!  As grandparents (not to mention aunts and uncles) of college-age "children" we at the Christian Book Corner would like to suggest a gift idea to you:  enroll your young adult relatives into the ranks of DT subscribers.  What they absorb, while enjoying the range of entertaining selections in each issue, is bound to do them some very unobtrusive good.

Meanwhile, we do have permission to offer printed back issues at a hefty discount.  The process of loading available back issues to the site is now underway.  Consider wrapping one of the back issues up to give in a gift package with notice of the subscription that will follow!

During the first couple of years of its existence DT was online only, and those archives are of course also available online only.  Printed back issues -- a few of which are already sold out with content now available only online -- begin with June 2007, the Sts. Peter and Paul Issue.
