The Two PillarsThe Two Pillars
"To be little means recognizing one’s nothingness,
expecting everything from the good God,
as a little child expects everything from its Father."
-  St. Thérèse of Lisieux

A little bit about our purpose:

The arts comprise a very influential component of our culture. If we can inspire one child to take up a career in those arts, and to create stunning beauty so as to lift men’s souls toward God, and in doing so glorify Him, we will have succeeded. To that end we are exploring a new genre of film: Children’s Cinema

The impulses to create, perform, tell stories, entertain, to "play make-believe", run deep in the human soul. When those impulses are gently directed, wonderful, magical things can happen - things like our films, St. Bernadette of Lourdes, and The War of the Vendee. In these films, one can see that most innocent and pure expression of a child's creative spirit, offered back to the Creator Himself, Almighty God.

Our idea is that with a little careful thought and planning, some attention to detail, just a smidgin of simple guidance, and most importantly, an overriding emphasis on the true purpose of art, namely to glorify God, we can make movies that are greater than the sum of their parts.

Young people are drawn in by watching the performances of other young people, but these award-winning films are not just for kids:  these are films made by Catholic families, for Catholic families - they will appeal to anyone who appreciates truth, beauty, innocence and joy.      -- Jim Morlino, President of Navis Pictures
